Liz Earle: The Ultimate Trio

I can barely muster the words to tell you  how much I love this skincare trio. It consists of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Instant Boost Skin Tonic and the Skin Repair Light Moisturiser (combination/oily). Together they create soft, smooth and clearer skin without being harsh or really time consuming. To be truly honest, I don't use these every single morning and evening, but even just the moisturiser on it's own is great. All the Liz Earle skin care products consist of naturally active ingredients, and when is that ever bad?!

- Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
"Cleanses and gently exfoliates for smoother, clearer skin."
This does what it says on the tin. I rub it into dry skin then wipe away with a damp (lukewarm) muslin cloth. You can feel all the gunk disappearing and is a great pick-me-up in the morning. It's great for removing make-up as well, and is perfect for taking off eye make-up. I just rub it over my (closed - duh) eyes and wipe it away. Love it.

- Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
"Revitalises, soothes and tones for instant radiance."
This stuff basically feels like you're rubbing silk on your face. It closes the pores after they were opened and cleaned out by the cleanser. This creates a smooth canvas for your moisturiser, then make-up. I wipe this on with cotton wool pads, then pat my face dry.

- Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser (Combination/Oily)
"Light, gentle and balancing for fresh, naturally healthy skin."
My skin loves this stuff. I have the weirdest skin that decides it wants to be dry, oily and combination all at the same. So when I found a moisturiser that actually catered to all my skin needs, I was actually speechless (well, almost). It keeps away the dryness and combats the grease, and is a great base for make-up. Perfect.

Disclaimer: Liz Earle is a bit pricey, but completely worth it in my opinion. I received these three in a gift set that came in a wash bag with two muslin cloths as a present. It's a great gift, and provides the perfect set of skincare essentials.

Thanks for having a read and I hope you enjoyed this little review! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and we'll see you soon.

Enjoy! Xx

Festive Treats!

Hey,
For the best time of year, you need the best food. We've found a cute idea for ya, but with some inspiration from a YouTuber (Gabby Lindley/VelvetGhost) and Pinterest. So, let's get started with the REINDEER MALLOW POPS!!

For these, you will need:
~ 130g of Milk Chocolate
~ Red and Black tube icing
~ Regular Marshmallows
~Cake Pop Sticks
~ Plain/ Salted Pretzels (Preference)

1. Push the cake pop sticks into the marshmallows, to create a rough head shape.

2. Melt the chocolate over boiling hot water on the stove. Make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. When you're chocolate is melted, place a folded tea-towel on your kitchen surface and put the bowl on top.

3. Dunk your marshmallows in the chocolate and completely cover them. Before you put them on the backing tray, lay down two pretzels together (they need to touch at the sides). Then place the chocolate covered marshmallow onto the pretzels. Repeat this until you've run out of chocolate or marshmallows!! Put them in the fridge cool set.

4. The last step is to give your reindeers' faces. For this, just pipe two little black blobs onto the top of the marshmallows and a big red blob onto the tip of the marshmallow. We kept it simple but you can add a mouth and teeth to give them different expressions.

So here is the finished product. We hope you give this a go, and sorry it's a bit late in the month, but they would be super cute to hand out on Christmas day!!

Hope you have a great Christmas/holiday!!

Enjoy!

Short but Sweet #6

Oh hey!
We are back (hanging our heads in shame because it's been so long) with a joint post. Today is going to be a quick and easy alternative to driving to Starbucks and getting a delicious, and rather naughty Frappuccino. This tasty ice drink only takes two minutes and is super easy.
So lets go!

Step 1: Grab some ice cubes from your freezer and chuck them in your blender. We recommend filling it about 3/4 of the way to the max. line (if your blender has one).

Step 2: Pour in a can of a cold espresso drink. We got this Starbucks Double Espresso thing from the supermarket (you can get them in Sainsburys, Waitrose, Tesco etc..) and you don't need to add sugar to this as the the drink is already super sweet.

Step 3: Press the button and whizz it all up!!

Step 4: Pour into two tumblers and top them of with squirty cream and cute straws!! These were so good and are great for sharing.

Thanks for having a read and we hope you give this a go!!
Have a nice weekend!

Enjoy! X

Short but Sweet #5

Oh hey!
Today's post is about one of my all time favourite place's to eat, drink and go when I need a good, hearty breakfast or brunch!! This post is about my local cafe, No.178. It is a cafe run by an employment service, and the staff are so kind and welcoming. The cafe has a lovely cosy feel about it and isn't all fancy and overpriced.

I went for my usual, the American Breakfast - an amazing tower of crispy bacon, mouth watering pancakes and maple syrup (which, lets be honest, makes me feel very happy.). My dad opted for a Scrambled Breakfast, which has more crispy bacon, baked beans, toasted seeded bread, a hash brown and perfectly scrambled eggs. I don't know what it is, but the scrambled eggs there are amazing.

They've also started selling macaroons, which are heavenly!! Lime macaroons - who'd have thought?!
*I'm sorry there aren't any pictures of the whole interior, but I felt a bit self-conscious and inconsiderate taking pictures of other people*
The interior is a mixture of vintage and retro styles, and they have a book swap with a great choice of books.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great week!
Big love <3

Feel Unique Unboxing Haul ♡

Recently I made my first ever order to feel unique, and if you don't know what feel unique is, it's basically a online beauty store which sells high end and high street makeup, skincare, body care and haircare etc. Although I have never made an order I do have an account and love drooling over makeup  I will never have on saturday mornings on the website. But recently they had a huge summer sale, which is by far the BEST makeup sale I have ever seen! Usually makeup is the crap, cheap stuff no-one likes, this one was a colossal sale of everything everyone loves! I did check the website and the sale is still going on! Yay! Anyway I had recently saved up some money and decided to splash out on some makeup brushes I have been wanting for way to long! I logged onto the website and had a little heart attack when I realised that there was up to 35% off Real Techniques Makeup Brushes! So naturally I was like ummmmm yes please and made a few cheeky purchases! Here's what happened!

Real Techniques Core Collection Kit!
Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection Limited Edition Kit!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge!

Just as a little disclaimer I definitely wouldn't have bought all of these products if they weren't on sale! Sorry this was a very random blogpost, but I hope you enjoyed it none the less!
Love you guys! ♡
